Dear Esteemed Members of the Spine Society Delhi Chapter,

I am honoured and privileged to address you as the President of the Spine Society Delhi Chapter. It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome each one of you to another year of innovation, collaboration, and progress in the field of spine health and surgery.

Our society has always been at the forefront of advancing spine care through continuous education, research, and the sharing of clinical expertise. As we embark on this new chapter, I would like to outline some of our key goals and initiatives for the year ahead:

  • Educational Programs and Workshops: We will continue to prioritize the professional development of our members through a series of workshops, seminars, Long term fellowships, cadaver courses and webinars. These programs are designed to keep us abreast of the latest advancements and techniques in spine surgery and care. Onus is on us to produce next generation of spine surgeon, we have introduced Observership to young spine surgeon in India and SAARC countries to visit our spine centres and learn and share knowledge with our members.

  • Research and Innovation: Promoting and supporting cutting-edge research remains a cornerstone of our mission. We will be launching new research grants and multicentric collaborative projects aimed at addressing the most pressing challenges in our field.
  • Community Outreach: Enhancing public awareness about spine health is critical. We plan to organize community outreach programs and health camps to educate the public on preventative measures and early intervention strategies for spine-related issues.
  • Networking and Collaboration: Fostering a strong network of spine care professionals is essential for our collective success. We will be organizing regular meetings and conferences to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices among our members. Our society was known for its family get-togethers until corona disrupted it, we will come up with much more such interactions
  • Advocacy and Policy: We aim to engage with policymakers to advocate for improved spine care infrastructure and policies that benefit both patients and practitioners.

I encourage all members to actively participate in our upcoming events and initiatives. Your involvement and contributions are what make our society vibrant and impactful. Together, we can achieve remarkable progress and set new benchmarks in spine care.

Thank you for your continued dedication and support. I look forward to a year of fruitful collaboration and significant achievements.
