Membership Registration
CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP
SUBSCRIPTION CATEGORIES:
Life Member: The member who pays one time subscription as life member of Rs.7500 + 18% GST= Rs 8850 /-. The membership is subject to the approval of the Executive Committee.
Eligibility : Must be postgraduate in Orthopaedics or neurosurgery and be practicing in NCR ( Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad & Noida only)
Rights & Obligations:
- Attend all society meeting and avail discount and benefits provided to members
- To elect and to be elected in any election of the Society. A Member shall have one vote ( Provided he is working in NCR during the time of voting).
- To submit suggestion for discussion to the Executive committee on any matter.
- To inspect the Accounts of the society on appointment with the Secretary & Treasurer.
- To forego his membership after due information in writing of the Secretary.
Associate Member: The member who pays subscription Rs.2500 + 18% GST= Rs 2,950/- and who is a post graduate trainee in spinal surgery, orthopaedics or neurosurgery.
Term: 2 years
Attend all society meeting and avail discount and benefits provided to members
Outstation Members:
Eligibility : Must be postgraduate in Orthopaedics or neurosurgery practicing anywhere in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan
Membership fee: Rs.7500 + 18% GST= Rs 8850/
Rights & Obligations:
Attend all society meeting and avail discount and benefits provided to members
Has no voting rights or hold any executive position
Honorary Member: Any person whose admission, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, is a matter pride to the Association, like a well-wisher, person with distinction in this field of medical science, a highly reputed person etc.
CESSATION OF MEMBERSHIP:
— A Member may resign from membership by a letter addressed to the Secretary.
— Members who habitually neglect their duties or doesn’t attend 50% of the annual and Bimonthly meetings may be dropped from membership provided they have been property dealt with by the disciplinary committee.
